You can’t turn it on and off. just my opinion.
I identify as mentally disabled. My doctor agrees, my family agrees, my friends agree. But I have never filed for disability so does this not make me mentally disabled?
If someone claims they are a good driver but does not have a current driver’s license does this negate their claim of being a good driver?
Of course not.
Consider this logic. The writer of this article was probably a woke kid who took liberty to use the term “identifies as disabled” rather than “Claims to be disabled” like they should have. The victim probably never even said those words... The author inserted them on their own.
So you could be judging the victim for those words when it was actually the author of the article who chose to use those words...
