Disney says ousted CEO Bob Chapek is set to get a severance package worth more than $20 million.
He got $24.2 million total compensation in the 2022 fiscal year, including $280,000 for air travel.
Disney's board decided that Chapek was "no longer the right person" and ended his employment without cause.

I’ve heard that gossip. In any case it’s bizarre that the board just gave him a $24 million payday with congratulations just a few months ago, and now turns around and fires him (with another massive payday)
Because he could still talk unless they pay him off
Hah! It’s good to be scum.
It’s a tough life. Hope he saves some of it for a rainy day.
I hope Disney goes belly up.
