Hubby just checked the rain gauge and we got 1/4” from the rain night before last. Not awful. I already can see tiny bits of green in the grass that looked like straw before it did rain. Yay!
Is it blowing a gale there?

A 1/4 inch isn’t too bad. Better than none at all and it sounds like your grass appreciated it.
8 tenths of an inch here. Now it’s just cloudy with a little bit of wind. It was pretty cranked up last night and early this morning but has been slowing dying down since I woke up.

Yes he did...myself included. Mutual of Omaha’ Wild Kingdom on Sunday nights right after the Wonderful World of Disney...when Walt would do the intro. I miss those days.

Yep, it was a good amount. There were a few brief heavy downpours but it was a nice steady rainfall otherwise. Little runoff.
I don’t think the wind got as strong as they predicted, at least not here. If it did, it was while I was asleep. It was blustery enough though.
