No, he faces a maximum sentence of 47 years, if he gets the maximum on every count he was convicted of. He hasn’t actually been sentenced yet.
That’s still insane, what else was he convicted of? So I assume even if he doesn’t get 47 years he’s still going to do hard time. Meanwhile I never hear of one single solitary Antifa terrorist getting even a year!
The trial will be held in Atlanta, which is 61% non-white.
*************
There won’t be a trial.
This is a dog & pony show for anti Trump partisans.
Either Willis won’t pursue or the judge will throw out this lawfare farce.
Only democraps are allowed to do that as well as make up their own laws.
I work for a company that gets mistakenly sued all of the time for liabilities of our clients. 90% of those improper lawsuits are brought by pro se plaintiffs in several Maryland counties outside of D.C. and in Fulton County, GA.
From that experience, I’m confident that DJT will not get a fair hearing in Fulton County.
Its Wakanda.
I saw a BLM dude say so.
Trump must have been a pretty severe threat to some extreme corruption to have this level of sustained multi decadal multi pronged international ceaseless attacks. There must be a reason they didn’t simply do the Bushitler schtick for a couple of years then forget about him.
Depends on where in Fulton County. N I rth Fulton is very white and mostly liberal.
....In North Fulton County....
I cant see charges being filed. It opens Georgia up to a whole bunch of discovery. Unless theyve come up with something better than what they had, which wasnt much.
"Willis's office is holding the only copy of the results of the grand jury's investigation into a series of alleged crimes, including criminal solicitation to commit election fraud, intentional interference with the performance of election duties, conspiracy and racketeering."
Simple...there’s *no* downside for the prosecutor except for a barrage of “abuse” from DJT.
Trump ‘lost’ GA because of Fulton County’s election results (remember the ‘water leak’ and the ballots appearing after observers left?) So, for the second time in his all-to-short political career, Trump finds himself in legal trouble over a phone call.
Fulton DA Willis ran on a platform of “I’ll get Trump.”
This is a classic Soviet approach from secret police chief Lavrentiy Beria, who famously said “Show Me the Man, and I’ll Show You the Crime”. It is completely reprehensible and has no place in a real justice system.
It was 11,780, well below the 12,000 threshold.
Georgia is gone. Kemp is a liberal Dem.
That’ll be a plus, possibly. Trump passed the Prison Reform bill and established Enterprise Zones, all of which benefited blacks greatly. He also built a wall to keep invaders out, and thereby caused entry-level and low-income real wages to go up. 3.9% unemployment prior to the Pandemic. Inflation and gas prices all low.
So still nothing? Lol
So what are the over / under odds? I am thinking not charged.
We no longer live in a world of fairness. We live in Vendetta Land. The Marxists do not care about anything but crushing their enemies, they do not care about the truth nor tradition. They want Trump in jail or worse. They want gulags for us.
They want burnt cities and Klaus to save the day.
And my friend told me the other day, there will be no pushback, because we believe in the law and rules. They are ruthless and evil.
The Atlanta District Attorney is a radical Black female.
She knows the "find 12,000 votes" quote from Donald Trump is taken out of context and can never be prosecuted.
So, she invented conspiracy and racketeering crimes.
100% chance someone gets indicted. She is investigating Giuliani, Cong. Jim Jordan, who is often on Fox News Prime Time, and a couple more I cannot recall.
50-50 chance that Trump is not charged.
