The title was overly dramatic — I thought someone got into Kavanaugh’s house. But that’s not what happened; he wasn’t “ambushed.” Nonetheless, I think the marshals should have stopped the protests because they were too close to his house, which I would consider intimidating a justice.

They couldn’t just put up barricades and arrested anyone trying to get past them? It’s not like this has never happened before. Crowd control and violent protesting is old hat.

I agree. I get so tired of these over-the-top sensational headlines that scream “click here, click here” instead of just a brief statement about what the article contains. That’s the problem with Truth Social and Gab. It’s all becoming a few main posters that just want clicks or try to draw people to their blogs.
