Kamala & NEWSOM cannot be Pres & VP at the same time-—they are from the same state.
I’ll need to check this but I believe that all the Constitution says is the “electors in the electoral college” can’t vote for both individuals from the same state. I don’t remember any prohibition from serving post-election if from the same state.
This is not true... The electors can not vote for two candidates from their state so the only state that would have a problem would be California.
