The ABC affiliate in LA interviewed a community activist from Monterey Park who said jealousy may have played a part in the shooting. That won’t stop the media from looking for any sort of connection between the gunman and MAGA.
When I worked at Raytheon in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, some Cambodian shot his estranged wife/Raytheon employee to death in the parking lot. There was a Cambodian woman whose son played on my grandson's little league team. The husband blocked her in in the parking lot and got out of his car and was screaming at her so violently that I called 911. The cop broke it up "peacefully", but I shuttered to think how it would have played out if he had not come. 6-foot four Irish cop, 5 foot two Cambodian husband.

That was my first thought when the shooting occured. Dance studios have a reputation for a place to hook up for those seeking such.
