Read his writings in The Nation, possibly In These Times (originally a pro Soviet publication of the Red infested/funded Institute for Policy Studies - see S. Steven Powell’s masterwork expose’ book on them ), and other far-left publications.
I found his brother Christopher to be a more serious thinker in both his writings and a personal conversation.
