My Leftist in-laws (Canadians and Philly) all argue “You aren’t black. You don’t know what it is like being harrassed by the police.” My counter: “If they weren’t doing crime, they wouldn’t be harraseed.

wardaddy would be the local expert, but as someone who passes through regularly and pays a little attention, it seems to be just the typical results of Leftist council people, mayors, and DAs getting elected and not properly handling violent crime.
