I’ll be looking into the local Credit Unions.
Maybe there is greater security there.
I can’t go through too many more weeks like this one, with the bank playing Hide and Seek with my money without me doing something that may get me into trouble. It was devastating.
I believe that to be the case. We switched most of our money to two credit unions, and love them. The FDIC is a paper tiger, and can only cover a fraction of depositors' money in bank accounts if there is a banking crisis. The Frank-Dodd Act of 2010 allows banks to do bail-ins that allow them to grab your money and issue shares of reduced value to you as a depositor. Credit unions are more secure.
