Earlier in the week there was a great thread on Tweater where folks were posing pics of libs/Dems cooking on gas stoves.

It was awesome.
Even Greta was on there.

Bad policy usually hurts the governed rather than the policy maker.

Millions of those governed, have already left for freer and greener pastures. The governed eventually figure it out, but, it's going to be too late for millions of them.

But poor NYers can smoke dope legally now to make up for the removal of gas stoves.

One of the few things we missed moving from the suburbs to the country, was the dirt cheap natural gas that powered everything in our house, even when you lost power, you could still take a hot shower, or play in the snow and take a hot bath. Lost power many times but not gas or water.

But why are we accepting this? Where do they get the power to ban anything? And why the heck are we sitting around like babies just taking it?

You are correct. Force the population into one source of energy then they will have to power to shut it off at will. Hugo Chavez did that in Venezuela. The poor neighborhoods that always voted for him never had problems with their power. The had cheap reliable power. The wealthy and those parts of the country that didn’t support him had regular blackouts and sky high energy prices.

I live in hurricane country so it is to be expected that we will lose power every once in a while sometimes for days.
I have a nat gas water heater and cooktop for that reason.

Leaders of the Democrat-led cities have argued that transitioning away from natural gas would help achieve climate and net-zero ambitions.

Net Zero - standard of living. Those of you still clinging to your memories of better days in that city; time to get over it and leave.

“I live in the outskirts of Los Angeles.”

So you don’t even have cold winters, comparatively speaking

“Good Bye to restaurants”

And good home cooks. I didn’t believe a stove could really make that much difference But my dual-fuel Wolf cooks like a dream.

I’m sure there’s quite a few wealthy people in NYC that can’t put top end stoves n their kitchens now. And people like me who got the display model, lol
