Democratic leaders in major cities nationwide have already moved forward with bans on natural gas stoves even as the Biden administration has pumped the brakes on similar regulations at the federal level.
Cities including Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle and New York City — which are collectively home to more than 10 million Americans — have enacted varying restrictions on natural gas hookups impacting gas-powered furnaces, ovens and stoves.
Leaders of the Democrat-led cities have argued that transitioning away from natural gas would help achieve climate and net-zero ambitions.
"New York City is proof that it’s possible to end the era of fossil fuels, invest in a sustainable future, protect public health and create good-paying jobs in the process," former New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said in December 2021. "If the largest city in America can take this critical step to ban gas use, any city can do the same."

And it will make absolutely no substantive difference if they never see a drop in CO2 emissions.

Reminds me of the story of some King (English or somewhere in Europe). He is riding along one cold, rainy stormy night with only one knight as a companion. They are both soaked with the cold rain and their horses need to get out of the weather as well. The King sees a serfs hovel/hut in the distance among the lighting flashes. He says to the knight “perhaps we can find a fire to warm ourselves in that hut”. The knight replies “there will be no fire in the hut your Majesty” The king asks “why not?”. The knight replies “your Majesty has banned the serfs from gathering firewood on pain of death”.
I applaud this move. The people in these cities will freeze and they have no one to blame but themselves

Don’t worry. I read this morning that a record number of citizens are moving from NY and California to Florida and Texas. This will just speed up the process.
If you want a gas stove, water heater, or clothes dryer you better move to a red state!
So I don’t understand...why don’t they just cut the lines that feed the gas to the city, I mean if gas is bad, it’s bad for everyone and all things..screw it if it gets cold and you can’t heat the house, too bad.
It is all about establishing the government power over the inside of your kitchen / house.
For the voters who voted Democrat, live with it. For voters who voted Republican, get out fast.

And where does electricity come from? That’s right, power plants. Wind and solar can only supplemental power because of calm days, cloudy days and night.
And how do power plants create the electricity? Well, nuclear but we can’t have that. Coal, eew! Hydro, but won’t someone think of the salmon and the Indians? And there’s natural gas, but if we’re banning its use in homes, well, now we’re getting silly.
The solution, of course is just be really cold in winter which will have the benefit of thinning the herd of carbon dioxide emitters.
jill biden has 1 in every house, including WH. Plus they had Wood Fireplaces installed. AOC wants your candles too.
Which means people who have gas stoves, have to buy new electric stoves.

Don’t know about stoves but I had to wait 4 weeks for a refrigerator from Home Depot.
Which means they can shut down the populous by cutting the power grid far easier than they can get rid of fossil fuel powered equipment. Similar to the need to disarm the populous of weapons as well.

They are BRILLIANT PEOPLE, who, for example, take a tiny minority of people, maybe 0.02% of men, those who cross-dress, and literally get them into virtually EVERY public school and public library in the country. Idiots cannot do that, only BRILLIANT PEOPLE can.
...and that’s why they keep winning - we think they’re stupid, but if they were stupid, they would not be accomplishing what they have done.
