Yup, I've "heard" them drive by. Given I'm hard of hearing now and that tire noise is all these EV's make I have to be damn' careful whenever I'm out walking and crossing the road because of the stupid EV drivers around here.
No public charging stations anywhere I've seen, plenty of EV's though.

yeah, a "V8 EV" would make zero sense. Moving parts consume energy and reduce range. And exactly what kind of exhaust noise would a "V8 EV" make anyway? Actually, it makes a lot of sense, if you're going for performance and AWD stability. That's what the upcoming 2024 Corvette E-Ray exactly is: a "V8 EV".
