Surely, you see that if the voter has a problematic address, the issue is corrected with a provisional ballot. Otherwise, the vote is suspect.
Rules are in place to protect the electoral process and its validity. If the voter cannot follow the rules, his/her vote is a nullity.
So what exactly do you propose to correct those inaccuracies in the voter roles? I’m not disputing there were problems, but if some group has data that could help fix that problem why would they not try and help do so?
The last thing most people worry about is if their voter registration is up to date after they move. They don’t pay attention until it’s time to vote.
