You’re using this threat in an attempt to win an argument on the internet. Problem is in real life, using nukes loses Putin everything. Apart from zeroing out the prestige he was trying to boost, it wipes out not just his entire family, but everyone in Russia who might have remembered him fondly.
You get pretty emotive about this stuff, but it’s not like you’re about gear up to assassinate anyone, which is what it would take to even slow it down, even though your death wouldn’t be certain. Whereas if Putin launched nukes against us, he would 100% die.

More living in the past... this isn’t 1962 Kennedy vs Krushchev. This is 2023. Putin’s an ill, psychotic egomaniac. Biden is an obviously demented doddering old fool who wasn’t all that bright at his younger best. It would not be out of character for Putin to analyze the situation and decide he could nuke us and get away with it, because Biden would freeze at the switch... and Putin might be right.
If I asked the question: "If Biden wanted to destroy the US, what would he do differently?" Biden fans would answer "He has not committed US forces to fight Russia directly in the Ukraine war." A better question is, "If Biden wanted to destroy the US without destroying himself, what would he do differently?"
