Us too, though the situation isn’t new, it’s been basically this way for decades.

When I was a kid (1950s) our relatives from rural Michigan would visit in our suburb outside of Detroit. They all would kid us and were amazed at our locking the house doors to go out somewhere. No need for them at that time for their towns (Port Austin, Oscoda, Saginaw, East Tawas).
