Never ever EVER try to educate a hoplophobe.
They will only ... 1000% of the time is whatever you say to further their agenda to cause you and your loved ones harm.
If anyone calls for the removal of ANY method of defense from you they are directly promoting, calling for and wishing for your harm.
These individuals are not your friend. They are not welcome to the table. They are not humans but only demons.
Befriend and speak to NO hoplophobe.

A great many of them are in my family. The less I talk to them about anything, the happier I am, for various reasons. But I can’t totally shun them. Then they want to know if I’m mad at them, or if anything’s wrong, and they bother me even more. Lately, they’ve mostly become little old ladies, and you don’t want to hurt the feelings of a little old lady. That’s terrible. A few of them visited me in Nahariya recently, and I steered the conversation away from anything that might cause them to aggravate me, and was polite and affable, and glad when they left.
