Ukrainian official (Oleksiy Arestovych) resigned after saying the Russian missile that killed dozens of civilians in an apartment block in Dnipro was shot down by Ukraine's forces before it hit the building......

Arestovych told Mark Feygin, on his YouTube channel with 2 million subscribers, that the missile was "shot down," before it struck the building, It fell on an entryway. It exploded as it fell," he reportedly said.

Contrary to Arestovych's statement, Ukraine's air force said that the country doesn't have the capability to shoot down the type of missile Russia used on Saturday (Proven false)

Arestovych sees himself as Ukraines next President....he was actually running against Zelensky prior but pulled back....he supported the Minsk agreements & doesn't trust NATO. In August, Arestovych said he would consider running for president if Zelensky didn't seek a 2nd term.

I don't believe anyone is surprised. It will be interesting to see where he takes this. He is an opportunist. ...He is privy to the behind the scenes drama.... Likely Arestovych is maneuvering for a prominent position in post-war Ukraine, when reconciliation and healing will once again become the usual key themes.

He's said a lot of very interesting things in a recent video including ‘the Ukrainian people have been propagandized so deeply, they have no idea what is true any more’....or something to that effect......He Probably knows/feels the end is coming or closer than it was. And so he's starting to tell little truths here and there so by the end when the people turn against Kiev regime he can say I was telling it all along.

But make no mistake - this guy is one dangerous fellow and will do about anything to get the Presidency.... Intelligent Narcissist in every way and ruthless. He's the one who said "lying in Ukraine is just normal"....

This was caused, once again, by an Ukrainian air defense missile; the Russian missile exploded once it hit the ground. In the video you can see a flash in the sky, when the interception occurred, moments later you can hear the explosion once it hit the residential building.

This isn't the first time Ukraine's defense has shot down Russian missiles which then fall on civilian homes and residential buildings. It's happened many times.

If you look at videos of the first night of GW1 over Baghdad all those tracers and SAMs and exploding ordinance have to come down . I wonder how many folks were killed by falling debris.
IIRC, during the Falklands war. the Atlantic Converyer was hit by an Argentine exocet that was EW diverted away from one of the carriers. Not saying that happen here but it could have.

I actually watched some of those videos and you're quite right......

I also suspect with so many people in Ukraine who aren't Ukrainians fighting this war many likely shoot at anything.....add in those firing that haven't a clue how to identify what they're aiming at.

I suppose for Ukrainians anything that flies is the enemy.
