GOSHEN, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The Tulare County Sherriff’s Office is investigating the shooting deaths of six people in Goshen, according to Sheriff Mike Boudreaux. The sheriff says one of the victims was a six-month-old baby.
Deputies responded to the 6800 Block of Harvest Road around 3:30 a.m. for multiple shots heard and believed there was possibly an active shooter due to the number of rounds being fired, according to Sheriff Boudreaux.

Goshen was so much nicer when Joseph and his brothers ran the place.
Grew up in Dinuba and Visalia, CA, and the kids from Goshen went to the Visalia schools at high school, generally Redwood High because Goshen was north of Highway 198 the basic boundry for Redwood and Whitney students. Mexican gang shootings have been happening in that area since shortly after the end of WW II. About 5 miles east of Goshen is Visalia and on the north side is a place called The Oval. Most of the year, there is a shooting and/or death there every weekend. So a gang hit in Goshen is not so unusual. All the surrounding towns, Dinuba, Reedley, Kingsburg, Woodlake, Exeter, Porterville and Woodville, and others, have all got the same problems.
Back in the 50’s the town of Dinuba even assisted in creating an area just south and west of it where not so liked people were asked to go to live. When someone was drunk in public, stole, or mistreated women on the streets they were asked to go live there. And many times, when they refused, they just somehow disappeared and were never seen again. It has been rumored that they didn’t need rebar for the stand pipes.

placed on reservations. Then went to Africa and brought in

take a state like Washington....most of all the counties swing pub but....most people are conservative ...
but that one precinct in Seattle, which always reports last, always come in for the rat and coincidentally, they can muster up just enough votes to get their rat in....
basically the rest of us have had our votes stolen for decades and its been decades where we had any state wide pub office holders, except for on pub SOS who also conveniently went to work for the buyden administration...
and the rats since the control everything have changed and tinkered with election rules to benefit them..
we have a county that has 3 county commissioners forever, and each time they try to change it to 5, the voters shut it down...
but then the gov and rat legislature passed a law making it that certain counties MUST have 5 commissioners....
the ONLY county in the whole state that was affected was ours.....the ONLY county....they made a law just to benefit their stinking cheating selves....

It’s all the citizens who depend on government money. The politicians find out the issues which the most voting and government dependant demographic care about....and tailor their political position to attract the most voters from that demographic. Now the Dems are forced to rig the election process to stay in power. The ones who depend on government money which are many will soon be broke as they are killing the capitalist goose which laid the golden egg.

Interesting. Admiral Elmo Zumwalt was from Visalia and I think a Visalia HS graduate. In both his memoir ‘On Duty’ and in talks to civic groups in Virginia he constantly described Visalia as a sort of bucolic Arcadia where his family of dairy farmers had moved to early in the 20th century from Wisconsin.
And I’d like to know the new “swing states” if Michigan and Pennsylvania and Georgia seem to be lost in a woke wilderness.
We can’t write off Arizona types, either. Dems are flooding them with illegal aliens and woke brainwashed high school students who will soon be old enough to vote for the first time.
Dem foregone conclusion big states are ALWAYS Dem and make most of the electoral college margin guaranteed.

According to the information I can find, Zumwalt was born in San Francisco but was raised in Visalia. It said he was a graduate, valedictorian, of Tulare High school which meant he was living south of Visalia in the ranching areas which could have a lot of dairy...still does.
That whole area has changed somewhat as in the north end of the city from a total ranching area to a lot of industrial clear out to the 99 highway. They’ve grown up a little, but not a lot. My better half is from Ivanhoe, north and east of Visalia and she went to Redwood while I went to Whitney. Caused a lot of sports discussions. But ranch life was great.
