A senior Tory minister has blasted the Church of England over its refusal to conduct same-sex marriages.
Penny Mordaunt, who ran to become party leader and prime minister twice last year, accused religious authorities of treating LGBT people as 'second-class citizens'.

Another so-called conservative who does not want to conserve any traditions and institutions. Since the Church of England is a state church, this politician feels she had the right to harangue the church.
In God’s eyes those who engage in homosexual acts *are* “second class”...in a very real sense.

Interesting. Not the Tory story, but the information that the C of E does not do same sex “marriages”. I somehow thought they were on board with all the gay stuff.
When politicians want to force churches to provide sacraments to those not following the faith of that church…..
They can possibly be married in a church that endorses homosexual marriage. Church of England — no. Islam - no. Scottish Presbyterian — unknown. Episcopal Church USA — yes. See, no problem.
They will just keep moving the goal posts. I was asked to be a Scripture reader for a same-sex wedding. I accepted with a caveat
“I’m not changing the Scripture” (For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and shall be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.)

Feelings and emotions over truth, the fuel that powers “progressivism.” You can understand “progressives” if you remember that they are emotionally immature, and that their thoughts and actions are therefore always driven by childish motivations.
