You didn’t get the deep freeze everyone else got over Christmas? Lucky you!
We’ve been mighty nippy but not that cold again and I don’t want it to get that cold again. For this part of the country, that was a bit much!
For up there, 40s is pretty darn nice. We have 60s coming up this week and that’ll feel nice, even with the rain. We really do need cold weather, though, to kill off more bugs. This is way too warm for mid January ..... but I kinda like it. LOL
YEAH, OF COURSE WE GOT THAT FREEZE. DOWN TO SINGLE DIGITS. WORRIED ABOUT PIPE FREEZES. BUT, AFTER A FEW DAYS IT WARMED UP INTO THE 50’S, MID 40’S, FREEZE THAWED INTO MUD, AND IT’S STILL NOT FROZE SOLID...WHICH IS OK WITH ME.
AS FOR KILLING OFF BUGS, WELL TAHITI NEVER HAS A FREEZE, THEY’VE GOT BUGS OF ALL SORTS, SOME (I HEAR) THE SIZE OF RHINOS, AND THOSE FOLKS MANAGE TO DO JUST FINE.
I’D RATHER SWAT A RHINO THAN SHOVEL AND SHIVER. NO PLACE IS PERFECT. EVEN EDEN HAD THAT DAMNED SNAKE, BUT I’D RATHER DEAL WITH IMPERFECT IN TAHITI, THAN WINTER IN THE STATES.
I’M OFF TO THE CRYPT EARLY TONIGHT. BE GOOD, SLEEP WELL, DON’T TURN YER BACK ON THOSE CATS!
