Are seagulls ever NOT down in the dumps?
Speaking of bad puns.
I had to explain to my suitcase that, much as it looks forward to our trips, we just wouldn’t be able to afford a vacation this year.
Now I have emotional baggage.
I half support all wit. It’s all I’ve got.
W00t!!
They did contain themselves until my nap was over. I wanted another hour, but it wasn’t to be. I had just barely gotten up when the text messages started.
Almost like clockwork: FS. FD. FS. FD. FS. FD. Unngh!
Then I took my pills and while I waited for the morphine to take effect, I listened to an uplifting talk. Then hung up the clothes to dry and here I am. Late, but here.
There is a card from you in today’s mail! Yippee!
It’s sunny out, but from tomorrow to Saturday at least, it will be rain and gloom again.
I’m going to try and remember to email Chuck today, just to let him know I’m still alive.
‘Bout time the card got there!
I’m going to Walmart.
I have “time and manner” restrictions in my appreciation, such as “not when I’m drinking red wine.”
If ya got it wear it swingin!
Poor Princess Dog! It’s scary to even watch a critter scratchin’ for traction on a clean waxed floor or an icy surface. We know that no matter how fast we move we can’t stop the fall once it starts.
I really think Ma Nature is getting back at the globull warming alarmists, and reminding them all that she’s in charge and she doesn’t accept cash, credit or debit cards, checks or bitcoins. She’ll do what she wants and taxing it won’t change it.
To me, it just feels like the winters we had when I was growing up. I like it!
Looks like those of us who checked in with a Wordle grid all had the same amount of difficulty. Tomorrow is another day!
That's what happens when you give up your thread to the Undeaders! Long live Salman's thread!
We'll just keep it for about another 3000 posts, give or take some, then we'll move on, with many thanks to you.

Five is a good number today!
I’m a latecomer to the game, so I only have 347 games played. But it’s OK. I’ll just keep plugging along. Eventually, I’ll make it to 400. And to Infinity, and BEYOND!
My light-therapy lamp is a godsend. I was really excited when it came! Now, I’m excited to turn it on in the mornings.
I’m still struggling, but not as bad as I was, thank goodness.
Since I suffer from SAD, and since this has been an especially dismal place to move to weather-wise, this little lamp is absolutely priceless.
If you or anyone in your family is prone to depression, I recommend one of these. This is the one T-c and I have.
Afternoon. I have supper ready, for when it’s time. Frank has gone to Lake Park to see his friend. I think James and Vlad have died, but they’ll get better.
Makes me think of that old vintner commercial: "We will sell no wine before it's bottled."
Or something like that anyway.
I just had to go switch the jeans so the “underside” (the hanger side) was facing out so that part could actually dry by morning. In Utah, they probably would have been dried by now. Everything. Including the stuff on the dryer bars.
I’ve suddenly lost all interest in everything I was working on, but I’m trying to stay awake for a bit longer. Unngh.
The barometer has dropped like crazy, but I already knew it was in the process of it. My lower back has never lied to me. Ever.
I died once. But my mother called and had my friend’s mom send me home.
Things are pretty gloomy here. I don’t know about the barometer, but I wouldn’t mind the opportunity to lie in bed like a teenbro.
If I didn’t have night sweats, I’d like to lie in bed like a teenbro as well. But I don’t like lying in cold damp sheets, so I get as far away as I can. I pull the top covers down so the sheets will dry out. I can’t help wishing I had my own place, with my own washer and dryer so I could have clean sheets every night. This is such an inconvenient life.
Anyway, I watched a good series (four 45-minute episodes) called “One of Us,” over the last two days. A little on the dark side, but the language wasn’t as bad as some—no F-bombs, and the ending was a total absolute, British-mystery-at-its-best shocker! I was NOT expecting it to end the way it did. Anything else but not that. It’s on BritBox if you’re interested.
So I think I’ll take my pills and head on down the hallway. My neck hurts and the wobblies are back, so not too much fun right now.
If nothing else, I’ll see you in the morning.
I hope you have a good night. I’ve got Cub Scouts!
Sounds good, I think that I will look into one...
