When communists pretend to be conservatives, they call conservatives neocons. Rhetoric from The Morning Star (”for peace and socialism”) is the same as what we’re seeing from the Putinistas here. So is rhetoric from the World Socialist Web Site.

An excerpt from today’s Morning Star online:

“The protest, called by the Act Now to Stop War and End Racism (Answer) Coalition and The People’s Forum, criticised the US’s hefty spending on the Ukraine crisis and the White House’s announcement to provide Kiev with even more military hardware.

‘We’re here today because we oppose the endless expansion of Nato, which is not only unnecessary but reckless and proactive,’ said Brian Becker, national director of the Answer Coalition.

Instead of escalating the war and sending more weapons to Ukraine, the United States should go back to the negotiating table and recognise that Russia has legitimate security concerns, Mr Becker told reporters.”

[See? They’re commies.]

NATO exists because of Russia, and Russia has launched a massive European invasion.

Some of them are followers of Lyndon LaRouche and others like him.

The Larouche Network The Heritage Foundation
Michael Copulus
July 19, 1984
After leaving the service, LaRouche surfaced in 1948 as a member of the Socialist Workers Party, a Trotskyite communist group. Although he left the SWP in 1957, he continued to be active in communist circles, and supported himself by working as a management consultant and systems analyst. During the late 1960s, LaRouche was listed as a faculty member at several of the Marxist "alternative schools" which sprang up at the time, using the name "Lynn Marcus." In June 1968, LaRouche became active with the radical Students for a Democratic Society (SDS),...

[Lyndon LaRouche's followers and others like them have since worked to infiltrate and influence conservative business groups while continuing to work with Democrats, neo-nazis and others. Contrived conspiracy theories and false political positions (to confuse readers) are their main tools.]

“Again, if this scenario plays out, all these ex-military leaders who have repeatedly told us, Russia was losing, Ukraine can win, Russia is on the verge of collapse, etc., if all that turns out to be false, will any of them suffer public humiliation and disappear from the public forever.”

Why should they, they loyally did their job as paid for by the Neocons? Their purpose was never to be right, but only to look like credible people telling whatever story was needed.

We saw EXACTLY the same, when this same bunch when they all claimed that it was CERTAIN that Trump ‘colluded’ with Russia. What happened to all those people? Promoted and won awards for their reporting.

If all former generals and admirals who have told us repeatedly that Russia was the ropes and Ukraine is winning are much like all the so called Covid experts, none of them will apologize and drop out public view forever for either lying or repeating false information.

False experts are horrible. Do you you agree with me that all those who said Ukraine could never retake Kherson should no longer be allowed to make pronouncements on the war?

Russia, nation of villains.

Number of deaths in Russian attack on Dnipro building grows to 29

"How dumb was he?"

Massive? A part of Eastern Ukraine is not massive.
Ukraine is not in NATO, and has never been an ally.
The Cold War is over Boomer.

Didn’t you predict the war would be over in April of 2022?

Have you not learned your lesson in pro-Russian delusions?

Actually , no.

The cold war was about an Iron Curtain that was a Russian buffer established to absorb European troops headed to Moscow before they reached Mother Russia.

The occupation of Ukraine by Russian troops is precisely the same. Ukraine is the largest invader absorber existent.

Globalism is the far greater danger to freedom and individualism in this world.
We are losing the real battle at home, and our government is the enemy.
Davos today is worse than Moscow.

I don’t why you are stuck in the Cold War.

Russia has launched the biggest European war since WWII and the gains or losses that come out of this for them and the threat of attacking NATO, are all of great importance to NATO, since this is why NATO exists.

It is also good to know what is going to be available to the Russian threat if we have to fight China.

One battle or one city or even areas of the country will mean nothing if the scenario in the article plays out as described.

Heck even Fauci was right once or twice about Covid, but overall he lied and misled the public about Covid resulting in massive damage that otherwise would not have happened.

How many people before the war started said it’s a terrible idea to fund a proxy war with Russia that is sure to result in 100s of thousands of deaths.

All this fear of globalism is in my view unfounded. It is primarily a European effort and does not really exist where it really counts ......eaast of Suez. The future is in the pacific rim and the now uniting Arab world.

Europe is stagnant and hostage to old men. The action is in the east

Russia is dying demographically and spiritually.
They know full well they can’t win a war against NATO.
Article 5 exists if they, or others, decide to get uppity.

If we don’t fix our domestic issues, who will fight for the US anymore?
It has always been heavily white males. I served, but wouldn’t serve now.
We are trashed daily in all aspects of life.
Fix the US now, or we become North Brazil.

While doing anything we still need to pay attention to the Russia and China threats and the reassembling of the nuclear-armed Russian empire.

You and I just disagree here as strongly as is possible.
No point in either of us arguing needlessly.(Globalism)
We will both find out what will be. (God willing)

I do agree with you about Asia, which is where Russia will sell their exports.

On what date will an agreement be signed ending the Russian/Ukraine conflict? I’m going with April 7, 2022.
