Why have the Rooskies not exhibited total Air Superiority/Dominance over Ukraine?

Because they don’t have to. Their Sukhoi S35 fighters can down any plane Ukraine has left without even entering Ukrainian airspace using the R37M air to air missile which flies at Mach 5 with a range of 220 miles.
And yet no Russian aircraft can actually overfly and be on call over Ukrainian airspace to perform basic interdiction functions like attacking convoys, blowing bridges and highway overpasses; or performing on-call frontline air support.
You know, the things the USAF does.
Btw, the UkAF is still flying and Ukraine is getting aifreight, S35’s notwithstanding. Probably because even the F35’s dont dare overfly Ukrainian airspace.
If the Russian AF could do all that air superiority stuff, among other things that would have ended significant rail and highway traffic in Ukraine, and they they would have won the war by now.
