making it a place holder for an official rejection of the impeachment farce... is not meaningless.
the next logical step in cancel culture
he is changing the shape of things to come...
The statement should be:
Trump’s impeachments will both be expunged.
Period.
Ah, then I'm sure the affected elections will be overturned forthwith and the rightfully elected officials will be installed immediately.
OR
We can concentrate on future elections and stop complaining about election laws we don't like and elect people to change them at the state level. But that's harder than whining about the past, so you will just continue to whine.
This is silly posturing for stupid people.
It means exactly and precisely nothing.
I agree with what you wrote 100%! Talk is cheap.
The political payback I wrote about was President Trump backing McCarthy for House Speaker.
FJB
ABSOLUTLY!! and charge the guards with whatever sticks - they been monsters to those people.
There will be no effort to correct the issues that resulted in fraud being rampant
Because we have to be elected to do so.
But you’ll sit there and continue taking whatever thought inhibiting substances you are taking, and tell me i’m bitching about the past because it’s easier.
I’m saying it as It is. You and a bunch of other freepers keep trying to sell me on unicorn farts. Take your ass back to DU and stay there.
That alone would make the effort worthwhile. This suggestion of doing it is worthwhile on that basis alone.
Nah.
Expunging won’t get back the time wasted and the money spent.
Besides, there is no stain on President Trump’s record that needs to be expunged. Being impeached twice by that scum is nothing but a badge of honor.
As for these Republicans who hardly lifted a finger to defend him when it was happening - there should be no absolution.
So what, pray tell, is your plan to save the country?

Can An Impeachment Be Repealed?
Suppose Republicans retake the House of Representatives in 2020. In the new House, they promptly repeal of what they consider the unjust impeachment of President Trump. Can they do that?
The answer, I think, is yes. It’s never been done before, but I am hard pressed to see why the House is bound by an impeachment passed by a prior one. This is different from an impeachment and a conviction. The Senate’s judgment in impeachment trials is final. The impeachment itself, though, is not different from any other House resolution. (There is an analogy here to the Senate’s Censure of Andrew Jackson in 1834, which a different Senate expunged three years later.) I doubt, though, that a repeal of an impeachment will mean that people will say that President Trump was not impeached.

YES, they absolutely can expunge. The HOUSE has the sole power of impeachment, they can invalidate a partisan impeachment if they choose. There is little fear that this would be done when not warranted, as it would take a majority to do so and most would not take on the political heat. But impeachment is simply a HOUSE RESOLUTION, as such can be undone by a HOUSE RESOLUTION as long as there was not a conviction by the superior chamber of Congress.

Censure is the public reprimanding of a public official for inappropriate conduct or voting behavior. ... Unlike impeachment, censure has no basis in the Constitution or in the rules of the Senate and House of Representatives. It derives from the formal condemnation of either congressional body of their own members.

Jackson’s censure removal is not the same as an impeachment removal.
