Not really, Truman sent advisors in 1950, Eisenhower had them there through his 2 terms, JFK had them and then in 1963 JFK sent 16,00 troops.
In 1965 President Johnson sent combat troops, the advisors didn’t cause anything.
I’m just said advisors were there then things escalated. You gotta problem with that?
