Former Trump adviser Steve Bannon has asked a judge to let him change lawyers as he defends himself against charges that he defrauded donors to the "We Build the Wall" campaign that was supposed to raise money for former President Donald Trump's signature domestic project. ...
Bannon attorney David Schoen told Judge Juan Merchan that "irreconcilable differences have arisen" on Bannon's defense team.
"We certainly don't need to show good cause and we don't need to go into detail," Schoen said.

A client should be able to dictate to his lawyers what legal strategy he wants them to follow, and fire them if they refuse, which is what this sounds like.
I guess the reason Bannon was missing this morning.
yes Natalie was a pleasant surprise
Good call.
She’s a sweetie.
What a damned criminal this judge is. He thinks he has the ability to prevent a defendant from firing a lawyer?
To have a detailed explanation of the tactical differences between the client and the lawyer?
And he thinks speedy trial is there for the state to act quickly? This assclown is already making numerous reversible errors and violating Bannon’s rights left and right.
And why in god’s name do guys like Bannon, the NRA, etc HQ in communist New York State? They need to form all their organizations in Texas or Florida.
Criminal in a robe.
“Criminal in a robe.”
Too many judges have left God and morality.
The justice system in the District of Columbia needs to be reformed.
