It could have been worse. Weisselberg could have gotten the
Paul Manafort Treatment, where one is sentenced to 7 years.
Lucky for Paul, he was released after abt 2 years due to Covid concerns and his weakening state.
Manfort was fed; Weisselberg is state (Why didn’t the feds also go after him ?)
Does NY have any prisons that are like country clubs ? Rikers seems like overkill.
