Yes, indeed. But it will be the local DA who prosecutes the case. And DA’s have a lot of power in that regard. They can look at the law, and be lenient. Or they can look for ways to charge to the max. Then a jury will decide.

And the local DA is a Soros-backed leftist who is very lenient on violent criminals. She’s the reason the thug was terrorizing the taqueria in the first place, IMO.
