South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem appears to be showing off her bona fides ahead of what's expected to be a competitive 2024 Republican presidential primary as she gave her second inaugural speech Saturday.
Noem, who won re-election by 26 points, spoke ahead of the speech, which included a reference to David Letterman's famous 'Top 10' lists and discussed how her leadership can offer lessons for the rest of the country.
She was asked Saturday if she wasn't ruling out a 2024 run and responded that 'that's fair to say. But there are a lot of people out there talking about running for president. I also know that politics changes quickly and things change on a dime on who's going to run and who's not going to run. I want the best person.'

The Republicans would be wise to put up a large field of candidates for 2024 and to do very thorough vetting. If they don’t then it increases the likelihood of Biden being re-elected.
So's Trump. He makes no distinction between them and the homosexuals. They're all the same to him and that really bothers me. Love his policies on the economy, jobs, etc.. and yet his views here really disturb me.

Agree, as I noted a while ago, she had a bill dropped right on her lap and all she had to do was sign it, and she’d be a top-tier candidate right not, instead of being confined to the John Bolton, Jeb Bush, wing of the Primary field.
But I guess it was just to much to expect her NOT to support the people who voted for her.

I’m real disappointed in Noem. This country could use a real Margaret Thatcher. For awhile there, I thought she might be it.
