Every person who is complaining about McCarthy for Speaker I would assume does not support Trump. He was calling the 20 hold-out telling them to give it up.

I loved Trump but some of the things he’s done over the last 2 years has made me drop my support of him. (vaccine support and support of McCarthy & Romney-McDaniel being the most offensive).

Honestly, the 20 “hold-outs” knew from the start that McCarthy would win in the end but they got concessions. That’s something. The likelihood of McCarthy will honor them is not high but breaking them will make him look more like a snake.

Isn't it more like he was calling and telling them that they got what they came to negotiate for and that it was time to close the negotiations and seal the deal?
