Same was true about Hitler even as the Reich was collapsing.
Side note: A check of my old posts will show that I was quite pro-Putin before the invasion. Russia had legitimate concerns about NATO expansion. But then Putin sent tanks across a sovereign border. Innocents are now being killed.
Putin deserves a place in hell, right next to Hitler.
