If by stupid you mean attack Ukraine with 3x as many troops that they have you’d be right. If you mean attack with professional soldiers against newly conscripted Ukrainian teenagers you’d be right. Cheers.

That’s very true.
I was in the USAF from 1970-1974, USAFSS specifically (that was Air Force Intelligence back in those days). In our detachment there were USAF, USN, and USA analysts. Everyone agreed that the Soviet military, man-for-man, sucked, because it lacked the essential glue of a professional and dedicated NCO cadre. Without nukes, the Soviets were — at best — second-rate actors.

While I admire your concern for Putin’s country, I do think your predictions might be a bit premature.
