Someone told me Africa does not have a problem with the Chinese flu. Is this because many people in the equatorial regions take chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine for malaria?

They also take Ivermectin routinely for a parasite common in Africa.

I have a friend from Ghana. He told me at the start of the plandemic that there is almost no flu in sub Saharan Africa because most everyone there took HCQ for malaria. When he went back recently there was no Covid.

Maybe, but a more obvious explanation is demographics. I don't know the exact #'s offhand, but Africa has a growing population (more children) and lower life expectancy, so there might be something like 4-5X as many elderly as a proportion of the population compared to developed countries. And fewer co-morbidities like like obesity. This would all translate into a far lower death toll since COVID deaths are heavily weighted towards the elderly and those with co-morbidities.
