There is a Gulf War vet who buys their firearms from our shop. She has had emotional issues but she never seemed very bad to me. Then suddenly she was denied a purchase by the BCS.Turns out her doctor at the VA decided to flag her. She was furious and after legal wrangling and threatening to sue, she got her rights back.
Isn’t it odd that the government can lie to you all they want, but it is a crime to lie to an federal LEO?
When the government lies to you, it’s “proper investigative procedure”.
When you lie to the government, it’s a felony.
The downfall of The Republic began when we abandoned the practice of tar and feathers.
I go to both a VA hospital for the service connected issues and use the local military hospital and so far they have only asked about depression and Covid jab. I will have to see if they change their questions.
I have already decided if my doctor starts asking about firearms in the home I am going to flat out lie about it and worry about the moral implications later. In fact, I might even toss them a diversion tactic by letting them believe incorrectly that I suppoet government gun grabbing.
