The Deep State fears DJT. Fact. They will use any foil to get him. Desantis would be as good of foil as any.

I didn't forget anything. And the DS and their media lackeys had already penned more than a few hit pieces against DeSantis until about a month ago, when they realized they could make up stories to use DeSantis as a foil against the Donald. It doesn't matter if DeSantis wants that or not -- the left will weaponize him just like they do everything else. And from the looks of the ongoing circular firing-squad that their false narrative has created both here and in the conservative sphere in general, they have been fairly successful.
This counterproductive infighting will continue until the ruse is finally seen by those constantly delivering all this not-so-friendly fire, and unit cohesion is again restored.
It can't happen too soon.
