Speaker candidate Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) was already inhabiting the Speaker’s office He is not even entitled to a vacant Janitors cubicle somewhere in the nether reaches of the house basement.
Since he is not currently an elected government official he is a CIVILIAN and the Sergent at arms / Capital police should arrest him and escort him to jail awaiting trial.
