Let me ask you a question. Do you feel same way about the football player who collapsed on the field because of a heart attack? When that happened, there were no longer any Buffalo Bill or Cincinnati Bengals, just human beings.

I'm not sure what you mean by “feel the same way”. If it means the person's change in behavior due to a medical thing (stroke/Fetterman or heart attack/ Hamlin) - yes, they are both tragic. Especially in how they respond to their loved ones.

A friend of my son had a terrible accident and damaged his brain. He was a nice, sociable and bright kid before. Afterwards he was an angry, spiteful nasty person due to his brain damage. A complete change in personality.

I hope that Hamlin can regain all of his functions and no long-term health or personality issues. Although I doubt he'll ever be able to play football again.
