What the 20 clowns want ultimately is to strip the Speaker position of all power, leaving just the title alone, thus everything will be ruled by Committee Chairmen. With this move there is no need to remove KM, as he will have no more say than anyone else, and less then a powerful Committee Chairmen.
And apparently, it only takes one to call for ‘no confidence’ or to stop a bill, according to the latest concessions. There is no predicting how many will be on which side of, as yet unannounced, legislation or policy.
Getting a Speaker ‘worth something’ seems not to be the objective. In fact, from all the concessions, it seems like the 20 clowns would be happy to remove the position entirely, if that were possible.
And now Washington Democrat Sen. Patty Murray was sworn in Tuesday as Senate president pro tempore. She, not KM, is now in line for the Presidency
Hope all the 20 are happy. More unintended consequences sure to follow.
