KYIV, Ukraine (AP) – Russia is preparing to step up its attacks on Ukraine using Iranian-made exploding drones, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, as Moscow looks for ways to keep up the pressure on Kyiv after months of battlefield setbacks for the Kremlin´s war strategy.
“We have information that Russia is planning a prolonged attack by Shaheds (exploding drones),” Zelenskyy said in his nightly video address late Monday.
He said the goal is to break Ukraine´s resistance by “exhausting our people, (our) air defense, our energy,” more than 10 months after Russia invaded its neighbor.

Russia’s is doing all it can. It’s army has been proven to be as corrupt and fake as Russian society at large. These are folks who invented the Potemkin village after all.

Yeah watching genocide from a distance is great for popcorn sales among the GOP that believes money is the most important thing and helping a people throw off an evil invader is cause for mass hilarity.

Every time I see this diversion I wonder why conservatives can no longer multi task. When did we become so weak we had to surrender to both Russian nuclear blackmail and Marxist Democrats simultaneously?
Kicking Russian corruption and influence out of Europe will bring great economic benefit to the US. President Trump agreed and his polices reflected that. Nordstream2 sanctions, pressure on allies to increase defense spending, American LNG exports to Europe, etc.
Obviously, this isn’t really about money for those advocating US disengangement. This is about surrendering to Russia in the fanciful dream that Putin will defeat “globohomo” for us. Since, apparently, we’re to weak to do that ourselves.
Obviously, adding tens or hundreds of billions of dollars in federal debt isn't the only issue. There are obviously other risks involved in going to war with a nuclear-armed opponent, over a country where the United States has no military treaty obligations or vital interests!
