You expect that if Putin actually has imperialistic goals that he would explicitly admit it in public?
Putin has compared himself to Peter. He’s clearly an irredentist trying to reconstruct the USSR. Sadly, some broken and defeated conservatives will never see the facts to staring them in the face because it spoils the fantastical world they have created.
Thanks, I had missed those remarks. It is just another example of Putin’s belief that he is taking back what rightfully belongs to Russia.
Some of it, ok. But I am going to try to find it in Russia. Those last comments are lies or terrible translations.
