Louie Gohmert ran against Boehner a few years back. I wish he would have won.

Newt Gingrich. If he’s up to it physically. That’s what McCarthy does not offer - strategic political communication skills and insight. McCarthy did nothing to help the GOP in the mid-terms. He’s just the nearest warm body available to serve as Speaker - and it will be a regrettable mistake if he is selected.
