Took a driving class a while back that is geared toward people in the security industry.

One small part of the class was in the classroom where they were talking about certain aspects of modern cars and what is to come in the future.

Apparently, the tire pressure sensors on cars is done through a bluetooth connection, can’t be hardwired. And that bluetooth connection is where a bad actor can hack your car computer.

Someone asked what can be controlled. Semi-autonomous cars can have their steering taken over, among other things. Regular cars, anything the computer controls to include on/off, acceleration, braking, and any other electronics.

And it’s only getting worse.

Good thing McConnell and the other Republican Senators voted for this disaster. But, then again they don’t read any of it. I’m sure they get cliff notes on what is going back to their respective state so they can brag about all the pork they’re bringing home. And the sheep, I mean voters, eat it all up.

I have driven over 1 million miles since age 15.

I NEVER needed a sensor to tell me if I had a tire pressure issue. 13 or 14 different vehicles.

I carry 2 types of pressure gauges at all times.
