After I bought it used, spotted a mystery button attached to the lower dash. Lots of searching revealed it to be a “FARR” alarm - disabler the dealer had installed.
Had not seen the little switch, would not have known it was there.
KARR = FARR
Apparently a common dealer scam to try and milk the buyer for a cheesy “upgrade”
Fact it, as it modifies the factory wiring, it voids the waranty on electrical system.
Always check for dealer installed crap like this and do not buy if installed.
