Sorry but MacGregor lost me at ‘’We’re not prepared to fight a war against Russia but Russia is prepared to fight a war against us’’.

Really Colonel? And just how are they going to do that?

With drunken press-ganged young boys, middle-aged men and guys in their 60’s?

A bunch of fumble footed morons we’ve been suckered into thinking were an all powerful juggernaut of military might for some six decades?

A third rate army getting it’s besotted butt kicked by a fourth rate army of a fifth rate nation over ruled by two greedy thugs.

How much is MacGregor getting paid to say this?

The Ukrainian soldiers filmed themselves executing Russian soldiers by having them lie down and shooting them in the back of the head. Those killed were not the ‘drunken press-ganged young boys’ claimed, but actual soldiers, one of whom did not want to die like a dog and started shooting. Mind you, the Ukrainians themselves filmed their own war crimes.

Zelensky has notified boys down to 13 years of age and the disabled citizens that they are next for conscription.

Russia used actual troops for the first 2 months of the conflict, then withdrew them and replaced them with volunteer militias for several months, and now in these closing days of the war, have returned to using regular troops.

Zelensky burned through trained troops early and has been conscripting untrained soldiers for some time, with maybe 120,000 of remaining troops (6 weeks ago) having had some military training and the rest untried civilians.

Do they want this BS war because Russia won’t go along with the New World Order? They baited Putin into this & then blamed the results of their rotten policies on Putin.

The whole thing is insanity...leaders flattered and/or bribed to go along with schemes that betray their citizens.

What will it take for the lies to crumble it all?

Questions for those who think MacGregor is a genius:

During the Gulf and Iraq wars, the US military planning was to get it over with fast. Defense contractors did not dictate operations to enrich themselves. Ukraine wants Russia out as fast as possible. Just how are Defense Contractors telling or forcing Ukraine to go slow so they can make more money? Not the accusation of kickbacks in the US, the actual operational decisions in Ukraine.
If this was true when Macgregor was in service, then why didn't he have problem with it until 20 years later?

Why has Bakhmut not fallen?
What is the word to describe how bad Russian casualties must be, since they have not taken Bakhmut?

Russia has a upper limit of deploying 200,000 in Ukraine. Macgregor has said between 500,000 to 700,000 will attack Ukraine.
Question: How can Russia attack with a force 250% to 350% larger than what it can support, on top of what is already in Ukraine?

How is Russia going to eliminate all the air defenses before the offensive begins?
If that is the case, why are they shifting to firing cruise weapons at the civilian population and not focusing on SEAD operations?
Why hasn't Russian SEAD worked for the last ten months?

How is prepositioning of supplies going to work now, because the use of HIMARS led to the trapping Russians in Kherson before Kharkiv...

...oh wait, Macgregor said that never happen because HIMARs were ineffective, they are are only 2 or 3 left, and Kharkiv doesn't count, and Ukraine was defeated to the point of collapse every day taking Kherson. Never mind. HIMARS and GMLRS is not going to be a factor again.

If Putin is so worried the conscripts are have the right winter clothing, what about he Russian MP complaining that 1,5 million winter uniforms disappeared? (strangely. they were uniforms he was supposed to have procured when he was a army officer)
There are multiple reports form inside Russia showing that the training facilities are dilapidated and barely functional.
How effective will these conscripts be as infantry, or handling advanced weapons that require extensive training when their training facilities are barely more than holding areas before they get sent to the front?
What about all those called up getting sent home for unfit for duty? They can't be part of the total deployed.
How is Russia going to take out Ukrainian military resources, when they have been unable to achieve this for the last ten months?
When is this Russian offensive going to happen?
Why has it been pushed back from his previous predictions?

If the offensive does not happen, or it collapses for the same reasons Russia has not won, will people finally realize Magregor has zero credibility?

“Why has Bakhmut not fallen?”

My opinion? I believe Russia could put an end to the existence of Ukraine in 48 hours. But then, Russia might still have a leftover collection of shit4brains nazis to deal with for the next 20 years... I suspect that Russians want the nazi cadres all dead and that they are using Baxhmut as a device for killing off nazis without having to comb the entire countryside for them.

There is an old saying of ‘you break it, you buy it.’ Russia needs ukraine to still be a functioning state when this is done so it is a slow road to weed out the people who use ukraine to hurt russia to include foreign powers (hint hint).

New York Times article gives details of the combat situation:

https://www.nytimes.com/2022/11/20/world/europe/russian-soldiers-shot-ukraine.html

EXCERPTS:

Two of the Ukrainians standing by appear to be relaxed and are pointing their rifles toward the ground. The capture of these [Russian] soldiers is initially orderly and without incident — but suddenly everything changes.

As an 11th Russian soldier emerges from the outhouse, he opens fire, aiming at one of the Ukrainian soldiers. The Ukrainians are taken by surprise. The cellphone camera jolts away as the Ukrainian soldier filming the scene flinches. A frame-by-frame analysis of what happens next shows the Ukrainian soldier standing beside him raise his rifle and aim toward the Russian gunman.

It’s nonsense. Russia has clearly demonstrated that they are not the military power the world thought they were. Outside their nuclear forces they are a paper tiger and would get seriously chewed up by NATO.

Probably by Italy solo.

It clear from this video that Lumpy Macgregor lives in a world of his own fantasy. It’s sad, really, to see this frustrated old man trying to claw back any shred of the credibility he lost in his predictions of massive Russian victory earlier last year. He can’t admit how laughably wrong he was, so all he has left is to double down, despite the fact Russia has been in retreat in most areas of the front and unable to gain ground elsewhere, all the while blowing the rest of its dwindling missile supply on attacking civilian targets.

Seems to me that the lesson of this of this “proxy” conflict is that any country that is willing to provide the cannon fodder and submit to U.S. command and control cannot be defeated, if at all, without massive cost and casualties. The old formula of having a three to one military advantage in order to defeat a defensive force has been multiplied at least tenfold by our intel capabilities alone.

“ The old formula of having a three to one military advantage ”

That formula goes back all the way to 1990 and Colin Powell. It’s not Sun Tzu. And, in most cases, it’s probably difficult to do unless you are the US invading a small country.
