I expect John and Ken of KFI640 radio (#1 in all of Calif talk radio) here in Los Angeles to die soon. They have a ghoul pool where they announce listeners thoughts on who will die in 2023.

My pick is them as they have stated they had the first shot then 4 more boosters, flu shots..... They are conservatives as far as ranting against the politicians in Calif. but look like they got stupid with the shots.

Sad. Dori was a good guy. A conservative in a very left-wing city. I liked his show. He really took a lot of these idiots to task for their broken policies; particularly, homelessness, drug law amnesty, no-bail, and COVID lockdowns.

Is that true - or, was this guy a Conservative according to the Seattle Times definition?

I have lived in Seattle for 25 years.

This is the first time I have heard the name.

The Fox News evening line up features at least two Seattle Conservatives, but this guy I do not know at all.

He had a show on KIRO 97.3FM every weekday from Noon to 3:00 p.m. I didn’t listen to him much, but from what I remember he was a centrist to a bit conservative. From a Seattle perspective he was definitely a conservative.

He had the highest rated local conservative talk show in the nation he stated. I guess Arbitron or who ever makes these ratings docs provide those stats. I’m going to miss him, even though I thought he was an insecure man from his dysfunctional childhood he like to opine about.

He had a big heart and wanted people to like him. He will be sorely missed.

Wow, that’s really hard to believe. You must not associate with any Seattle/King County conservatives or look at any Metro Busses or Akerley Billboards, his KIRO show got lots of publicity.

I didn’t listen to Monson until 2016 when pretend conservative formally nationally syndicated talk show host Michael Medved violated everything that he had spent the previous ten broadcast years telling listeners about. Medved was especially adamant that you should not to through your vote away on a “fringe candidate” like the “Losertarian or Constitution Party candidates.”

So what does he do when DJT won the Republican primary? You guessed right, he cast off all the “sage” advice he’d been spewing for a decade and voted for the Constitution Party candidate. That cost him not only his syndicated deal, but all of his reputation as a reformed liberal.

This is when I started listening to the late Mr. Monson, they had the same broadcast times 12-3 Pacific. RIP Mr. Monson.

Not an unusual or unexpected opinion. But unusual to see it so blatantly expressed.

It does explain the extreme reaction of the Left toward anyone who opposes them. If you oppose their policies, it must be because you "hate." No other possible explanation for opposing the Left.
