Operation מבצע אופר was a surprise airstrike conducted by the Israeli Air Force on 7 June 1981, which destroyed an unfinished Iraqi nuclear reactor located 17 km southeast of Baghdad, Iraq.

Something about the pilots basically going on a kamikaze mission because of the inability to refuel.

Kamikaze is not the proper term. The pilots are not going to fly their airplanes into their target.

I believe a "one-way" mission would be a more appropriate description.

The Israeli Air Force have tankers and could refuel over Jordan and Saudi Arabia, with or without permission.

The mission would be flown by F-35s.

I believe a “one-way” mission would be a more appropriate description….I’m ‘81 they didn’t have the refueling capacity, IIRC.

However, I agree, that today they are going to have the luxury of refueling. Gonna be a bad day in Iran if they go. But an even worse day for everyone else.

However, if there were a way to have Soros, gates, Kerry, Fink and the rest of Blackrock, most of the Hedge Fund managers and a few more folks at one of the sites, I’m betting things could start to straighten out.
