The only way I went to see the Sox was bleacher tix 2-3 dollars in the early 1990s. And ate a huge Italian sausage sandwich/ with peppers and onions outside, before going into Fenway.

The average tix price must be $70 these days

In recent years seen more games on the road when traveling including Philly, Pitt., Worcester etc. There were a couple games some years ago with fairly cheap tickets for not the best view.RF—had to turn your head a bit to see home plate.

One year the Sox hosted a series vs Seattle because the KingDome had a structural problem so series relocated to Fenway—all seats $10, no bleachers, get there early for general admission seating.

That was long ago—the M’s had a rookie named Alex Rodriguez.
One other time on July 4 I went to a game and saw it from roof boxes—place was not sold out. This was before the fabled sellout streak and on way home sports radio saying it was sad they couldn’t get sellouts on a nice holiday like that.

There may be more marked down bargain seats
if people lose interest and the team rivals the ‘62 Mets in the standings.
