I’m waiting with dread to see the results of the infamous Michigan Constitutional amendment passed this November by the voters.
One interpretation is any medical staff member can be jailed for refusing to participate in an abortion due to conscience or religious convictions since abortions are now a protected civil right for women and the abortionist. It would be a civil rights violation for the nurse or other who didn’t want to kill a baby by abortion.
It is clear that the abortionist (no longer has to be a doctor! Now a health care provider (some say a podiatrist or chiropractor counts) cannot be sued or brought to trial for anything that goes wrong including the death of the woman. And their Dem ads on TV said over and over “with the Republican end to Roe, women can die. Yes, women can die. We must pass Proposal 3.”
Unreal.

I’m guessing that’s gunna have a lot of challenges.
