The only reason for this is that dems passionately hate Trump and plan to use the returns against him.

He had the best tax accountants money could buy. His taxes pose no risk to him.
He objected because first, they are private and their release would be an abuse of his privacy.
Secondly, they showed his business connections. Those connections will now be targeted for abuse.
These abuse incidents of Trump and his connections make us all very angry.
But stay cool, what goes around, comes around.
Since they released them on a Friday, while Congress is on their year-end vacation, and Republicans will be in the majority in a new session, it means there is nothing in them to use against him.
I suggest that all members of Congress, White House staff, the heads of all Federal Agencies, all in the executive legislative and judiciary above a GS 14, all lobbyist on K street, have their tax returns made public. Oddly the K street proposal is very important.
It will not happen.
